What is Neurofunctional Acupuncture?

Experience a highly effective acupuncture approach based on the nervous system and the way your body moves.

Neurofunctional Acupuncture is a comfortable technique that produces immediate and lasting improvements in strength, range of motion and pain. Acupuncture needles are used to specifically target muscles and nerves related to weakness and altered movement patterns that we identify in our assessment. Our therapists are all extensively trained in these safe techniques.

Neurofunctional acupuncture is a painless, anatomical approach produces immediate and lasting improvements in strength, range of motion, and pain. Thin acupuncture needles are used to specifically target muscles and nerves related to weakness and altered movement patterns.

These thin, sanitary, one-use needles are inserted into various parts of the body to stimulate nerve function. Acupuncture is often completely painless. Unlike most medical needles, many patient don’t even notice the insertion of the acupuncture needles.

Electroacupuncture is a technique in which small electrical currents are applied to the acupuncture needles, further stimulating nerves and muscles.

Needless to say she was very pleased and surprised with the results, but the powerful effects of Contemporary Acupuncture are something that I have come to expect. Read more HERE
